I started listening to music when I was 10, I remember ‘Now 92′ was the first tape I bought. I was introduced to Hip Hop by my life long friend, Birdy. I remember going round his house (in about 1995 maybe?) and listening to Snoop Dogg’s ‘Doggystyle’ and thinking it was the bollocks! I think the first Rap album I bought was either 2Pac’s ‘Me Against The World’ or Nas’ ‘It Was Written’. Good choices which ever one it was as I still love them both and that got me on my way….

I kind of went off Hip Hop for a bit and started listening to Indie music (PS - Check out Babylon Zoo - ‘The Boy With The X-Ray Eyes, trust me). My passion then changed to Dance for a bit. I got back into Hip Hop about 1998, listening to mainstream stuff really. Gradually I expanded the artsists I listened to and thanks to the internet, was able to read about and download a whole load of new music that I probably wouldn’t have even thought about buying, exposing me to some great music.

January 25th, 2001. This was the date the Bird Man and I decided we would create a rap group, Out 4 Justice! (hangs head in shame). I started writing every so often and he wrote a bit too but I don’t think anything would have ever really come of it. It was only when Meri showed me some beats that he’d made that I started writing again. We started recording stuff every so often until we had enough material where we realised it would be cool to make an album.

Vicious Circle was the next name for the would be rap group! This was later scrapped(because it was already in use) and I’m quite glad to be honest. I came up with the name Sinthetic as a mate mentioned our music sounded synthetic and I thought it was a cool name. The ‘Sin’ reflecting the darker sides of our nature… The album got a name too - ‘Everyone’s A Sinner’ and we really started making progress about mid 2005 and started finishing up a lot of songs. Birdy, you have missed the boat mate! - pull your finger out and maybe you can get on the next album!

After getting a lot of positive responses from letting people here our music, we made the decision to get the album pressed up properly and that’s pretty much how we got to this point in time….

We are not trying to be anything we’re not, you won’t find us taking pictures of ourselves in front of grafiti trying to ‘be hip hop’ or rapping about how many people we shoot with our guns (unless it’s taking the piss or metaphorically). But I’m sure you will see/hear this for yourselves anyway. All I want to do is make good music for people to enjoy and have fun doing it. Thank’s for taking your time to visit the site and thanks for your support. Take it easy.
